Upgrading from FireDaemon Pro 3, 4, and 5 to FireDaemon Pro 6
From January 1, 2025, we will no longer provide upgrade discounts from FireDaemon Pro 3 and Pro 4 to FireDaemon Pro 6. You will need to purchase new licenses. Sorry about that.
If you have an active software assurance subscription for the retail version of FireDaemon Pro, you will have been provided with a FireDaemon Pro 6 license key as part of the subscription renewal process. A Cleverbridge Order Confirmation email containing a valid FireDaemon Pro 6 Serial Number Name and Serial Number will have been sent to you. Please apply those license details when activating the retail version of FireDaemon Pro.
If you have an active software assurance subscription for FireDaemon Pro OEM, you can download the latest version of FireDaemon Pro OEM 6 via your most recent Cleverbridge Order Confirmation email.
How to migrate from FireDaemon Pro 3 to FireDaemon Pro 6
For help with migration, please see the FireDaemon Pro 3 Service Migration Guide.
Include FireDaemon Pro in your recurring patch management plan
Once you have migrated and have FireDaemon Pro 6 installed, you should ensure FireDaemon Pro is included in your patch management plan and is updated regularly. FireDaemon Pro will notify you whenever a new version is available when you run it. Alternatively, please subscribe to the FireDaemon Product Versions RSS Feed or periodically review the FireDaemon Pro and Pro OEM Changelog.
