When running your Windows services with FireDaemon Pro, you may have to run your service a nominated local or domain user in order to access local or network resources. FireDaemon Pro services are launched by default using the LocalSystem account. You can change who the service runs as via the Logon section in the FireDaemon Pro Settings tab. For more information regarding Service User Accounts please refer to this article on service user accounts in the Microsoft Knowledge Base. You may also be interested in this Microsoft Knowledge Base article discussing service security and access rights assigned to services when run as various users. Lastly, some user accounts are localised based on the language you select when installing Windows.
