Yes, absolutely! FireDaemon Pro is designed to run almost any application, whether it's an executable file or interpreted script. We've included HOWTO guides for many programs and games, but there's a lot more software out there that can be run as a Windows service with FireDaemon Pro.
If you're looking to run an application for which we don't have an existing HOWTO guide, here are some tips:
- Check the HOWTO guides for existing similar HOWTOs. Finding a HOWTO guide for a similar application can give you a head start in figuring out how to run your application, as many types of software are similar in how they are run as a service under FireDaemon Pro.
- Make sure the application works in a regular Windows session before trying to run it as a service with FireDaemon Pro. If it doesn't work in a regular Windows session, it definitely won't run as a Windows service with FireDaemon Pro.
